Blue skies, white sand and music - Can you feel the beach party? This unique piece has a wonderful, vibrant energy. I love painting large pieces because I get to move my whole body as I'm painting. This piece took several months to complete, I finally added gold highlights in the bottom right (can you see them?). Once I finished and stood back I realised the incredible energy the painting radiates.

This was one of the first intuitive abstract paintings I did. I used gouache and acrylic paints, threw down my paintbrush and grabbed a window cleaning squeegee instead. I pulled the paint pulled across the paper to create these wonderful reflective marks. When I paint intuitively I know instinctively what colours I want to use, and my spirit guides advise me where to place the colour. I know when a painting's finished as In this case the combination of colours and marks felt balanced. There was nothing else I wanted to add, so I knew the painting was complete. I called it Reflections because it reminded me of looking at a city reflected in a river. What does it make you reflect on?

For this piece I used rubber rollers instead of paintbrushes. The golden yellow globes pulled down the paper, laying over the gouache and acrylic marks underneath. This piece didn't have a name for ages, then one day while I was looking at it, a poem popped into my head. The title of the poem was 'Slow Moon' and it seemed to fit the painting perfectly.

This is one of my favourite Fairytale pieces. It evokes the feeling of a romantic woodland dell. The first layer was made with soft pastels, which I then varnished and worked over with additional layers of acrylic paint. Instead of a paintbrush I applied the paint with a dried leaf which I feel adds to the woodland energy. It's finished off with wonderful bronze highlights of fairy glitter.
